The Teacher’s Tutorial, a comprehensive reference card, outlines the eight step process involved in using student interests to create metaphors that motivate and inspire individuals to transform their behavior. This is available as The Teacher’s Tool Kit and includes:
- A laminated double-sided reference card: “Using Metaphors to Modify Behavior: A No-Nag Intervention.”
- One Wrist-O-Pic, an adjustable nine inch washable wristband with five detachable clear vinyl picture pockets. Just insert your pictures, communication symbols, or images of your student’s special interests, and you’re ready to go! The Pic-Pockets come connected in sets of five and must be gently separated at each seam. (Pictures are not included.)
